Brown Nori Roll (2kinds)

We'll make sushi rolls with brown rice and tofu fillings. One filling is tofu, vegies and pickles. Another is tuna with tofu mayonnaise. We'll make the mayonnaise from tofu and olive oil.
Home made tofu

Let's eat tofu freshly made from soybeans. It's called hiyayakko and it's cold tofu served with several toppings and soy sauce. It's the simplest and the most popular tofu dish in Japan!
Edamame and prawn tempura with green tea salt

This is a typical Japanese dish. Sure, it's a deep-fried dish, but a little bit of fat won't kill us, right?

Soy bean powder and red bean okara cake

There's no butter or oil in this recipe but you'll be amazed how soft and moist it is. Kinako is roasted soybean powder with okara and just a little soymilk.. This cake is almost totally soy and tastes great.

Miso soup with tofu, seaweed and fried bean curd

There's no new twist to this traditional favourite. It's Japan's daily soup
Okara Sticks (Black Sesame)

These traditional Japanese sweets are usually made from flour and are deep-fried. But this recipe uses okara and we bake in the oven instead - and with no oil or butter as well. It's a great no fat snack!
Spinach tossed with tofu and sesame dressing

Preparing traditional food is sometimes so time consuming but I made this traditional dish in a much easier way and I think its taste better than the traditional version.
Green tea soy custard

This recipe uses soymilk but you can't taste the soymilk at all. Enjoy it with Japanese traditional black syrup.
